Our students
We use DJing as a tool for music therapy, creativity, and socialization. How does mixing affect the state of EnterDJ students?
Oleksandr Ivanko
Veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, studying at EnterDJ since August 2024.
He was seriously injured in a missile strike near a helicopter while on duty. He lost his leg and underwent five surgeries.
He went to rehabilitation in the Superhumans center, Lviv. Suddenly, he received an invitation to music therapy at the center. Then saw a DJ console and remembered that he once dreamed of being a DJ. And started attending EnterDJ classes. Later, Oleksandr joined performances as a DJ and as a bass guitarist.
“When I mix music, excitement and curiosity appear. Mood and morale rise. If it works out, a smile appears. It's a real emotional charge.”

Roman Cherkas
Veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, studying at EnterDJ since October 2024.
He was seriously wounded while serving in the Third Tank Brigade in eastern Ukraine. Under mortar fire while delivering water and shells to his comrades, he lost both lower limbs.
After numerous surgeries and prosthetics, in August 2024 he went to the Superhumans center in Lviv for rehabilitation. There he met the EnterDJ program and returned to his dream of becoming a DJ, which he had had since his youth.
“I mix and forget about phantom pains. I want to move, get people excited, see how they get high. Practice, time, finding my own sound — I want to play. Now I like different styles: techno, house, drum and bass, all of it appeals to me."
